I first became aware of the incredible Indian ruins in the Southwest during the 1970s when I came  across a wonderful book entitled Anasazi…  with photos by David Muench. Shortly thereafter I had a one-man show in Santa Fe of my photographs to coincide with the publication of The Enigma of Stonehenge, text by John Fowles. While I was there I had the  opportunity to photograph many Indian ruins in the immediate area. I have returned to the Southwest many times to photograph not only the ruins but the landscape as well.
