Capp Street Project

These images are from a small black-and-white project which I did a while ago that has been very well received. The Capp Street Project was a house in the Mission district owned by the sculptor David Ireland. He created this work with a grant which came from the San Francisco Arts Commission.  His intention was to reconfigure the inside of the house as a piece of sculpture unto itself. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to photograph it with permission from the San Francisco Arts Commission.
The image below won First Award in an international photography competition known as the Black and White Spider Awards.
