 My career as an artist started out being both an abstract painter and a photographer. Traveling in Spain in the 1970’sI became fascinated with the textures and colors of the old walls I found. Richly colored, they became inspirations for my paintings. I photographed them as a “visual notebook” for painting. As time went by the photos developed a life of their own and I began to “see” images for finished photos everywhere I turned. Ironically, I have given up painting for now.
The photos thus far included on my website only begin to scratch the surface of my collection.
